Um dos personagens principais da 22ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro desabafou nesta sexta-feira. Dois dias após anular gol legal do meia Cícero do Fluminense, na partida contra o Corinthians, quando o jogo estava ainda 1 a 0 para o Timão – encerrando-se em 2 a 0 para os paulistas na Arena -, Fabio Pereira, assistente do duelo, assumiu o erro e desabafou à Folha de São Paulo.

– Prejudiquei o jogo e a competição. Foi um erro duro, o grande erro da minha carreira – admitiu o assistente da partida.

O Corinthians vem sendo alvo de reclamações de outras equipes do Brasileirão, que acusam o clube de estar sendo beneficiado pela arbitragem na competição. O clube paulista é o líder do Nacional, com 49 pontos, sete à frente do Atlético-MG, vice-líder. Apesar de novo erro a favor do Timão, Fabio Pereira diz que é inaceitável cogitar que há complô para o Alvinegro ser campeão.

– O jogo estava 1 a 0. Se o gol tivesse sido dado, poderia ser muito diferente. Foi com certeza uma coisa que influenciou no placar. Mas é uma loucura dizer que tem complô (para beneficiar o Corinthians). Isso não existe. A gente não conseguiu ser perfeito. Só isso. Quase tudo deu certo – disse o bandeira.

Fabio Pereira não fugiu da responsabilidade que seu erro pode ter causado para a competição. Por isso, para o assistente, decisão da CBF de afastá-lo por tempo indeterminado de jogos do futebol brasileiro foi correta e lamentou pelos profissionais do Fluminense.

– Não foi um erro aceitável. O lance não era complexo. Não era uma questão de interpretação. A comissão e a CBF estão certas e agora eu tenho de voltar ao treinamento e me aperfeiçoar. Lamento pelos profissionais que prejudiquei, pelos jogadores, pela diretoria. Eu me sinto culpado. Sinto como um jogador que perde um gol na cara ou um goleiro que toma um gol fácil de pegar – concluiu.

Pereira foi um dos seis profissionais da arbitragem afastados na última quinta-feira. Assim como os outros, ele ficará realizando trabalhos teóricos e práticos na Escola Nacional de Arbitragem. Nunca antes no Brasileirão tantos profissionais haviam sido suspensos em uma única rodada.

Last summer seemed to be something of a turning point as United aimed for younger talents with the likes of Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Dan James coming in, before Bruno Fernandes joined in January.

It seems like United turned a corner, but a recent transfer report indicates that they could soon go back to their old ways, and that isn’t a good thing.

What’s the story then?

The Express are reporting that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are chasing 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner James Rodriguez.

The Colombian has just one year remaining on his deal in the Spanish capital, and he’s reportedly available for a fee of £23m.

Even at that price, it’s hard to justify United shelling out for him.

Sanchez 2.0

There’s no doubting that Rodriguez has the natural ability to be a success for Manchester United, having won a World Cup Golden Boot, but it’s been six years since what was arguably the peak of his career.

The midfielder has played just 419 league minutes for Zinedine Zidane’s side this term, and that’s after Bayern Munich decided to let him go back to his parent club, refusing to take up their option to buy after his two-year loan.

There’s no shame in being rejected by Bayern and struggling to get a game for Real Madrid, after all, they’re two of the biggest teams in the world, but at 29-years-old with a litany of injury problems on his record, you have to say that this is a risk not worth taking.

With Fernandes and Paul Pogba as midfield options you also have to ask why United would even need him at this point?

If he did come in it’s hard to imagine him being anything but another sap on their wage budget in a similar vein to Sanchez.

وعن قلة الفرص، قال سيميوني: “من الصعب أمام ألافيس الحصول على العديد من الفرص لأنهم يتجمعون كثيرًا في الخلف، لا يتركون فراغات، لذلك لم يكن لدينا القدرة على تهديد مرماهم كثيرًا، وهذا أمر جيد بالنسبة لهم، لا يمكن لأحد انتقادهم”.

وشدد مدرب أتلتيكو مدريد: “الشيء الأكثر أهمية الآن هو أننا يجب علينا التحسن، كل شيء آخر سيأتي مع المباريات، الأهم التحسن والعودة لطريق الانتصارات”.

وأشار: “لقد دخل أتلتيكو مدريد في وقت الصعوبات مبكرًا هذا الموسم، وأنا المسؤول عن ذلك، لكنني أثق في الفريق وأثق بأننا سنتحسن في المباريات القادمة”.

واختتم: “لقد تلقينا أهدافًا من ركلات ثابتة كثيرًا هذا الموسم، وتضررنا منها، ثم يستبسل الخصم أمامنا ولا يترك لنا المساحات”.

Sunderland target Charlie Goode has responded to the latest transfer rumours about his future and where he will play next season.

Black Cats manager Phil Parkinson is desperate to bolster his squad ahead of next season having finished eighth in the League One table, missing out on promotion for a second successive year.

As the pressure mounts on Parkinson, the 52-year-old coach has already sealed the double signing of Bailey Wright and Aiden O’Brien.

Following those deals, interest in Goode has emerged after the defender had an impressive season with Northampton Town.

The Cobblers captain led his team to promotion from League Two last month via the play-off final and those performances prompted transfer interest from a whole host of Championship clubs, with Sky Sports‘ northeast correspondent Keith Downie reporting the news.

With interest starting to develop in the £1m-valued defender, QPR seemed to have won the race earlier this week, judging by a claim from football columnist and agent Michael Vennerholm.

However, Goode has discussed his future and seemingly rubbished that report, telling Northampton Chronicle: “My focus is on the pitch, (The rumours are) something I’m aware of but at the end of the day I play for Northampton and that won’t change until my last day at the club.

“My focus is as normal and I’m just looking forward to the new season. I’ve loved every minute I’ve had at this club.”

“I came here to get promoted last season and I’ve helped us achieve that – but it doesn’t stop now.”

Whilst the comments made by Goode offer hope that the reported move to QPR is far from a done deal, he still seems keen to ply his trade with Northampton.

Of course, a lucrative contract offer could tempt him to leave, but it remains to be seen if a summer transfer window move to Sunderland will materialise.

وأضاف: “هذه هي كرة القدم وهي الميزة الرياضية، حيث يمكنك لعب هذه المسابقات الكبرى والحصول على فرصة للفوز على أكبر الفرق والتأهل إلى المراحل القادمة من البطولة، أنه أمر رائع”.

ويتصدر شيريف تيراسبول جدول ترتيب المجموعة الرابعة من دوري أبطال أوروبا حتى الآن برصيد 6 نقاط، متفوقًا على ريال مدريد الوصيف بفارق 3 نقاط.

A falta de educação da torcida pode custar caro ao Atlético-MG. Por conta das cusparadas de torcedores minieiros contra o técnico Tite, no duelo com o Corinthians, na Arena Independência, o clube será julgado nesta sexta-feira pelo Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva epode ser multado em até R$ 100 mil, além da perda de mando de campo de um a dez jogos.

O Atlético-MGresponderá ao artigo 213, inciso I, do primeiro parágrafo do CBJD (Código Brasileiro de Justiça Desportiva), que fala em “deixar de tomar providências capazes de prevenir e reprimir edesordens em sua praça de desporto”.

A denúncia do STJD ocorreu após o recebimento da súmula da partida, realizada no dia 1 de novembro e válida pela 33ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. O Corinthians venceu o confronto em Belo Horizonte por 3 a 0.

O árbitro Heber Roberto Lopes relatou que “aos 15 minutos de jogo foi solicitado ao policiamento dentro do estádio que reforçasse o contingente de policiais atrás do banco de suplentes da equipe do Corinthians em virtude dos torcedores do Atlético/MG, localizados atrás deste banco, estarem cuspindo no treinador do Corinthians”.

O árbitro ainda informou que Levir Culpi, treinador do Galo, se dirigiu ao banco de reservas do Corinthians e pediu que os torcedores parassem de cuspir em Tite, o que não aconteceu mais após o pedido.

“Deixar de tomar providências capazes de prevenir e reprimir:

I – desordens em sua praça de desporto.

PENA: multa, de R$ 100,00 (cem reais) a R$ 100.000,00 (cem mil reais).

§ 1º Quando a desordem, invasão ou lançamento de objeto for de elevada gravidade ou causar prejuízo ao andamento do evento desportivo, a entidade de prática poderá ser punida com a perda do mando de campo de uma a dez partidas, provas ou equivalentes, quando participante da competição oficial”.

وأكد حسين السمري المدير التنفيذي للزمالك وعضو اللجنة، خلال تصريحات عبر الموقع الرسمي للنادي، أنه تقرر خلال الاجتماع إيقاف إجراءات تلقي طلبات المرشحين ودراسة تداعيات الأمر، وما ستقرره لجنة تنقية العضويات ومطالبة المديرية بالشكاوى التي تخص هذا الموضوع.

وأكدت اللجنة في اجتماعها، صحة كل إجراءات الدعوة للانتخابات التي اتخذتها، لكونها تطابق اللائحة وبالتنسيق التام مع المديرية، الجهة المختصة بنادي الزمالك، وترفض تمامًا لفظ البطلان وأن ما تلقته المديرية من شكاوى تخص لجنة تنقية العضوية المكلفة بذلك وليس اللجنة المكلفة بإدارة النادي، وأن هذه المشاكل في العضوية تخص عدم السداد لفترات سابقة.

What’s the word?

According to the Daily Star, the Spurs boss could reunite with controversial Chelsea forward Diego Costa after he was put up for sale by Atletico Madrid.

It’s claimed that the La Liga giants need cash and the aggressive talisman is one of several players on the chopping block and whilst some have their doubts at the club, Mourinho would welcome an opportunity to work together again.

Callum Wilson is another target who is experienced in the top-flight, but the relegated Cherries are holding out for too much money.

Striker solution?

This move would undoubtedly raise a few eyebrows given Costa’s history up the road, he’s scored once and provided two assists against Spurs in the past and of course, was a rather divisive figure on the pitch.

Mourinho has previously labelled the Spanish powerhouse as an “animal” whilst Costa himself lauded his former boss for the impact he’s had on his career, the 31-year-old said: “In all honesty, I always tell people I am grateful to Mourinho because he helped me a lot. As a player when you want to improve you always look for the best coach and Mourinho is one of the best.”

Things haven’t exactly gone to plan for the former Blues talisman this season, starting just 20 games all season – but that didn’t stop him from delivering five goals and five assists, via WhoScored.

Despite being described as a “beast” in the past by Diego Simeone, it seems as if their relationship will not extend past the summer.

Whether he’s what Spurs really need remains to be seen as does the sort of fee the veteran would command. Costa is currently valued at just over £13m by Transfermarkt.

Marcelo Bielsa has made it abundantly clear that he wants to reinforce the squad ahead of their first season in the Premier League that will start in September. The Argentine coach is looking to bolster multiple lines and his attacking force is surely one of them.

According to the latest update from the Football Insider, the Whites are indeed targeting two strikers who would together be valued at around £50m. The first one is Valencia’s Rodrigo and it seems that Leeds United could scoop the 29-year-old forward for a fee in the region of £30m.

The 22-cap Spaniard is obviously an experienced option that’s used to playing at the top level. Not only that but Rodrigo was really close to making a switch to Barcelona when the Catalans were looking for an emergency signing in January.

Despite that deal ultimately breaking down, the pure interest from the Blaugrana does prove the Spaniard has a lot of quality. Apart from him, Leeds have also made enquiries about AC Milan’s Rafael Leao.

The 21-year-old could, however, prove to be a much more difficult target to attain seeing how Rossoneri have high hopes for him and want the youngster to be a big part of their squad.

Rodrigo, on the other hand, would be much easier to get. Not least because of Valencia’s great rebuild and restructuring of the team currently in process.

Verdict

Patrick Bamford has been a good asset for Bielsa in the second part of the season, even bagging a respectable 16 goals in total, but the 26-year-old’s consistency is questionable, especially since they will no longer play in the Championship.

Rodrigo could very well be the one to push him out of the squad and offer the coach that dose of experience and know-how. At the very least, he will make for a solid support for his teammate as he is a very flexible forward.
